Perfect way to spend a snowy evening, reading in front of the twinkling tree! I just got home from seeing Good Boy and I have So. Many. Thoughts! It was so emotional and also pretty dang scary. My dog looks so much like Indy it was hard to watch at times! The themes of love and loyalty in the face of fear were powerful. We don't deserve dogs! Barley says "No reading, only pets!" Silly dog! Just finished my re-read of The Long Walk. Wow. Pretty sure I bought and read this copy in like 2006 and it hits different reading it again today! Can't wait to see the movie this weekend! Have you seen it yet? Is it a good adaptation? Let me know your thoughts! Loved this perfect summer read by an old favorite, Fredrik Backman. Perfect beach reads! Had to bring along some @wendywebbauthor books to infuse some Gothic goodness into my Madeline Island vacation! It was so much fun to see the settings brought to life. I'm not sure I brought enough books set on Lake Superior for my Madeline Island long weekend... That feeling when all your library holds come in at once! ✨️🤩✨️
